So Twyrch forced me to come join this forum. . .okay, not force, we made a deal. . .anyway. . .I'm originally from Terry Brooks' forum. . .I haven't had a chance to read any of Stephen Lawhead's books, but I would like to once I get out for the summer. . . school just kills any pleasure reading.
Anyway, hi.

Oh, I know what you mean. As an English major, I never get to read for fun during the school year.

Yeah, I'm an English major . . . for now. . .I might remain one and just do a double major in Sign Language Interpertation and English-Creative Writing, or I'll drop it to be a minor. . .either way I'm staying in it.

It seems to me that English majors are the ones always trying to decide whether or not to change our majors. My other loves are classical antiquity and philosophy.

I wouldn't be thinking about changing but I'm changing schools. . .the university I'm at currently has decided that forensics (speech/debate) isn't that important to the comm department and rerouted our funds to a stupid MA for comm. . .so I'm transfering to a different school with forensics, and they offer a sign language interpertation major, which is just cool!

I hope to see you around here sometime later! If you like the Shannara books, you should probably like the Song of Albion series...

i only dropped out 2 years ago....but my main problem was that my "college" became a "university"....and all because of a name change and a slip of paper certifying them, they jacked up their prices:(

Yeah, Twyrch twisted my arm into joining here too. I also haven't read any Lawhead books, but they are on the list.
