Hey guys! Since most of Mr. Lawhead's books have a great deal to do with the Middle Ages, I thought many of you might find this interesting: There is a true medieval castle being built in America right now! It's a massive project, using strictly medieval (13th century, to be exact) methods, and will take 20 years to finish! I had the privelege to visit the site last Summer and hope to see it again this Summer. It's near Lead Hill, Arkansas (1/2 hour south of Branson), so it's right in the heart of the US. They just started working on it in 2009, so it's got a long way to go, but what an awesome thing to witness! Here's the website if you want to check it out: www.ozarkmedievalfortress.com/en-us/

Dear squire:
A 13th century A.D. castle in Arkansas is really cool!
I will definitely check it out: not only will it help me understand some of Mr. Lawhead's historical books better, I think it may help me with some of the projects I am writing!
Thanks, squire! :-)
