Greetings!
My name is Jason Jewell and I am glad to be in the company of other Stephen Lawhead fans!
When I was younger I had a hard time getting into books. My parents were fairly strict on what I was able to read which left fiction pretty much out of the picture. This left me with stuff that really didn't tend to my fascination of sci fi.
Stephen saved me from abandoning books entirely! I spotted a book in a Christian Book store about a Dragon King. My mom couldnt say no to a book from a Christian Book store. From then on I have read just about everything Mr. Lawhead has to offer. Not only did he quench my thirst for fantasy books, he inspired me to write. Unfortunately life has gotten in the way (a very poor excuse) but I am making time, I have so many stories floating around in my head.

A warm welcome here, Jason! We hope to hear your thoughts on what you've read, what you've liked, what made you ponder. And if you haven't read all of Lawhead's fiction yet, what do you still have to look forward to?
There are also lots of other places here for you to post and let us get to know you better, and we'll do the same!

Well met indeed, Jason! Good to have you here. Post often! Any particular favorite Lawhead work? Well, if I HAD to pick one, I would have to say Byzantium. But thats only if I had to pick one because I couldn't, with a clear concious, seperate any of the trilogies or cycle...

I haven't had much time for enjoyment reading as I was finishing my MBA, just graduated WOOT! My wife bought me the books as a gift!

But thats only if I had to pick one because I couldn't, with a clear concious, seperate any of the trilogies or cycle... *chuckle* It's okay to go ahead and name a complete trilogy or cycle as a 'work.' So, go ahead, throw caution to the wind and choose whatever you want.

Jason, Welcome to the SRL forum! If you ever get any of your writing up on the internet anywhere, let us all know so we can read it. Keep writing---it takes a lot of discipline, but you can do it! -Robert
