Well, I finished signing up for classes for next semester, and I'm super-excited, so I thought I'd share with you guys what I'm taking. Being a junior now means being crazy busy (as I am this semester and will be again next), but it also means starting to take all my upper-level major classes which are oh-so-divine. As for English classes: British Lit II, which is a continuation of Brit Lit I, which I'm taking this semester... Pretty self-expanatory; it's British Literature through the ages. Advanced Grammar -- This will be my first rhetoric and grammar class at the college level, so I'm really excited about it. I'm told it's one of the toughest classes here, so I'm gearing up for it. Creative Writing -- This is the class I'm looking forward to more than anything else. The professor who's teaching it has told me that the main purpose to cover in the class will be travel writing, and how to effectively record all the things we experience in our lives. Needless to say, it will be the best class ever. And, finally, Intro to Literary Criticism, which is more of a theory class, about the principles of Lit Criticism through the ages... Which will be a great class, mostly because my favorite professor is teaching it. I'm also taking Logic and Critical Thinking, from the brilliant philosophy professor who taught the Worldviews class I was in freshman year. I'm really looking forward to it. So there ya go! I'm excited.

English and history are two of my favorite things to study, too...I even have an etymology dictionary that I read for fun! What are you hoping to do after college?
