For the past year I have felt an urgent need to pray for Mel Gibson and his family. A few weeks ago I started a group at Yahoo for the purpose of inviting others to join me in praying for them all. Now it is revealed to me what the "urgent" feelings were about.
I'm sure most of you have heard by now that Mel and Robyn Gibson are calling it quits after 28 years of marriage. I cannot help but feel this is not the last chapter of their marriage. God would not have me praying for them so fervently only to let them walk away from each other. It takes more than a piece of paper to make you married and it takes more than a piece of paper to make you divorced.
I invite anyone who wishes to pray for the Gibsons to feel free to come and join the group.
"Again, I tell you if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them." (Matthew 18:19-20)
