For those of you who have gotten to know me a bit know that it is an understatement when I tell you that I think Stephen is a great writer. Next to the Bible , Stephen is THE writer. Yet I've been disappointed in the first two books of this trilogy but now I've discovered why. I've been hurt a lot and it makes you shy away from any pain or discomfort. I was afraid to fall in love and enjoy these books until I had all three of them. I've noticed that now "Tuck" is available, I am so anxious to start again and read all three books straight through. I suppose I didn't want to love the first or second one, only to realize I would have to wait a year to find out more. I am in my 40's but still a product of the "instant generation". So this is my message to Stephen, "Get back to work! 'Cause when I'm finished these books I'll want more AND THEY HAD BETTER BE READY AND WAITING. (Nothing like a threat from a fan to nudge a writer to action - or to get a restraining order) Sincerely, Maidryn

*laugh* I'll sign your unusual petition. That way, when you go to jail for threatening an author you'll have company.
It's more fun with the whole story isn't it?
*looking forward to the rest*

I've been slowly working on re-reading the Celtic Crusades and just finished The Mystic Rose this morning. Now that I'm done with that I'm ready to re-read Hood, Scarlet and READ Tuck!

It's challenging when you get hooked on a character or storyline and are forced to wait any length of time before continuing that fantasy life in the story itself. Fortunately, Stephen produces high quality books at such a rapid rate, one might think he has them already written and is only giving us what he thinks we can handle at any one time.
