Has anyone else here heard of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism)?

Yep!
There's also a Facebook group dedicated to restoring 'thou' and 'ye'. Fun stuff!

Awesome, that Facebook group sounds spiffy. I'll have to look it up (you wouldn't happen to know its name, would you?)...
But, since you've heard of the SCA, does that mean you are fsmilliar with it (perhaps even a member), or have only heard of it?

I've only heard of it. I thought about joining but it sounds like a lot of work and expense for my budget.
I think the Facebook group is called 'Society for the Restoration of Thou' or something like that.
What is your level of involvement in the SCA?

Yes, indeed, it looks like the SCA could get very expensive. I'm not a member either, but I'm interested in joining someday (like, after I graduate from college). Expensive as it will likely be, it also looks like an incredible, hands-on learning experience. I had just asked because I would like to talk to someone who is or was a member so I can learn more about it. The "Society for the Restoration of Thou" eh? I'll go look that up. Thanks
