Our little town has a marquee sign at the main intersection that advertises community events. This morning I did a double-take as I drove past it, and here's why:

Look at the last line. I read this as the German sentence "Santa Ist Un Methodist" ("Santa is a Methodist"). I thought that someone was playing a practical joke until I remembered that we have a 1st United Methodist church in town.... I guess the joke's on me! ;D

ETA: I just realized that the real German would be "Santa Ist Ein Methodist"--"Un" is French. More proof that my brain simply wasn't engaged this morning...
