Cool! You do remember! I'm not so forgettable after all. You don't want to hear rocket scientist stories because working up to the Ares preliminary design review was as close to hell as I ever want to be... On our first presentation, I was the sacrificial lamb. I was broiled for 5 hours...and I only got to talk about half an hour. After that, I had to sit and listen to all my sins...all my work slowly ripped to shreds. It was very ugly. But then when I represented 6 months later, that is this month, I sailed through with only a few scrapes. Healthy enough to reclaim my life and make an appearance at the old haunt.

I'm glad you survived that initial roasting. It seems to me that sort of thing happens just as a way of testing your resolve and ability to bounce back. You bounced back well enough that you're still among the living.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger eh?

I always thought that phrase went: "What doesn't kill you ... eats you alive." But I may be wrong.
