So my current job will only last me until school starts up. Once it does, I knew I would have to get a different job. And it would have to pay fairly well. I've been looking at Retail since my experience thus far has been fast food, telemarketing and janitorial, so I figured retail would be a fun change. I filled out applications for Hastings, Barnes and Noble, Boarders and Franklin Covey (Day planners). I got an interview with Hastings, but apparently they didn't like me too much Meanies. But then again, they only wanted to pay me $6/hr and work me anywhere from 15-25 hours a week. Yeah right! I need a promised 20 hours a week at $6/hour. Well, then Saturday the manager of Franklin Covey called me and asked me to come in today for an interview, so I came in for an interview. She talked to me for like 45 minutes and then said she'd hire me on at. . . Suspense killing you yet??? $8.05 (maybe $8.20)/hour! Plus commission! w00t!

That's awesome. Even better than what you were hoping for. I hope you'll enjoy it and things work out for you.
Keep up with the prayers. They are working.

I have a Franklin Covey planner, they have a great product! (Not as though I use it... I'm too undisciplined, but it's the best planner out there! LOL I should know, I researched.)
I'm so glad you're getting better pay than you prayed for. Isn't God good?

I love my new planner. . .did I mention I got a $50 gift certificate to spend on any planner set up I wanted? Well. . .I did. . .I got a very nice pocket book sized one and it's just great! I love it! Plus, it's cute. . .and maybe, just maybe, I'll finally get organized and stay organized because I HAVE to bring the planner everyday to work and take notes.

well, here in Portugal I win almost the same as you did, like 6$/hour (more precisely: 7,5 euro/hour), but it is a part time job in the university! Now that I am graduated (yes, you can congratulate me ), I´m going to begin a real worker life!!
