Stephen Lawhead is an invited speaker at this year's Edinburgh International Book Festival. His appearance is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the RBS Corner Theatre.
From the Festival's programme:
"Philip Reeve's Here Lies Arthur cleverly re-imagines the early days of King Arthur. Hood, Scarlet and Tuck comprise Stephen R Lawhead's gripping trilogy which retells Robin Hood's escapades. Join these master storytellers for a look at our nation's most famous legends and their own unique interpretations of history."
SRL says, "The EBF is a big deal in the UK and this year it's going to be even bigger -- because I'm going to be there! For the first time, I've been invited to appear and talk about folklore and legend as used in my work. My appearance is scheduled for Saturday, August 16th -- so, if you're going to be in the area, why not take in the festival? Or, fancy a trip to Scotland? Come on! I'd love to meet you. See you there!"

Quite a scoop, Tegid! I check his diary fairly frequently, but you caught the news right away!
It would be incredible to go!
