It's an interesting story, actually. In effect, they're pretending that the other movie never happened. This one, Ed Norton is directing AND starring in. Basically, he has the kind of clout in Hollywood where he can say "Hey, I wanna remake this shoddy film you guys put out a few years back" and they'll let him.
He's a Hulk fan, and is actually very, super familiar with Marvel Comics (being a comic nerd himself), so the result should be interesting.
I don't know what I'll do if there are two good, Marvel-Comic inspired movies released (as Iron Man was great!).

one of the main reasons they are doing this is to set up an Avengers movie....they've already signed Downey for it as Iron Man....they're signing Norton for it as Hulk.....and they're planning on Captain America and a few others as single movies and when they do those, they'll be signing the actors for the Avengers movie as well.......now if only DC had been smart enough to do this with a Justice League deal.

justice league would be cool...I heard the captain america is going to be good once they get it going.
I saw the promos for that hulk movie, and I got excited. mostly because I am a nerd, and I liked most ed norton's movies. Also it's coming out on my birthday!!! go ol' luck friday june 13

I think they could do a lot with a series of movies around the Avengers but it'll be a while before that gets going, especially if they're going to put out a couple more movies around individual characters.

the only rumor i've heard about that i'm not too keen on is maybe an Antman movie....just doesn't sound too thrilling.
