oh, I have, hence the grrr.
they put things in that movie that were not in the book. certain battle tactics, interpersonal dynamics, certain people being locked up that were not, certian people debating on vengeance, and some of the characters views on aslan.
the story was completely americanized, and if they had stuck with original dynamics, I think it would have been better considering how christianity is under debate today.
before I get too high on this geek soap box, I will say that the movie in of itself is good, and that some of the additions were good as well.
Thank god, they didn't ravage it like peter jackson did with tlotr

I didn't like all the additions, but I thought the original story came through fairly well. My biggest grumbles were that they turned Reepicheep and Trumpkin into comic relief--and Reep didnt' even have an English accent.

yeah, but it was eddie izzard, and that has some redeeming value to it ;D Y'know, it's funny... getting one of the vilest comedians around to play one of the noblest characters in the Narnia books. Kind of ironic. ;D But I thought it didn't even sound like Eddie at all.

I've no idea who Eddie is, but I wasn't impressed with Reep's banality.

I thought it was close to his character in the book(it seemed so to me)...just as pompus, honorable, and brave...although there was more of a squeaky tone to his voice in the book...nevermind

he's not that vile Hehe, not when you compare him with other comedians, I suppose... but hardly one I would consider a top canidate for Reepicheep.

I've never listened much to film critics in my life. But when I saw the title of this topic (grrr) and discovered it was about Prince Caspian, I stopped reading (so as not to spoil the plot) and decided I have to get my butt to a movie theatre. Who would have thought that the word, "grrr" would motivate someone? Let's see if we can adapt it to extinguish world hunger. Sincerely, the Maid
