Treskillard is a member of this website. You may have seen some of his posts around. I'm sure he would not blow his own horn, so I'm going to do it for him. I was just checking out the latest new members here and saw his profile and then went to check out his website: www.epictales.org, and like I told him, I couldn't add it to my list of favorite websites fast enough. Now I could ramble on about how wonderful he is but why don't you just go and check him out for yourself. Go to his profile here at this website or go to his own website. I'm pretty sure that you'll be happy you did. (and "No" this was not a paid endorsement - I've never met him or even written to him before today) ;D Love Maidryn

Thank you for the plug about my website and work. Stephen Lawhead has inspired me to write, and so it is only appropriate for me to be part of the community here. I'm thankful for the opportunity God has given me to write at this time, and I hope my blog and fiction can speak to others in a meaningful way. My goal is to be published, which is a very long road, so if you or anyone else finds something in my writing that can be improved, I would greatly appreciate critiques!

I would strongly encourage all of you to visit > Authonomy.com < and read the first part of Treskillard's novel, Merlin's Blade. Authonomy is a website hosted by publisher HarperCollins for aspiring authors to upload partial or complete works for the purpose of getting constructive feedback and also hopefully to get noticed by publishers and agents. Although registration is not required in order to browse what's there, it would allow you to 'vote' in a sense for the best books you see out there by choosing to 'back' them and putting them on your bookshelf there. A couple publishers have committed to giving a serious look at the most popular 'backed' books each month, and so it certainly helps the authors of your favorite unpublished works there if you do log in and 'back' those books. Treskillard could even hope that you would help his book in that way. Please consider reading Part 1 of Merlin's Blade online at > this direct link < (you can't download it) and letting him know your honest thoughts about it. And please give serious thought to 'backing' the book, too. It would be outstanding if he's noticed by a publisher because of your support. (Like [pink]Maidryn[/pink], I'm not being paid to write this. Nor have I ever met Treskillard yet. I've just seen him in a movie.)

Tegid, Thanks for the plug! When I read your "I've just seen him in a movie" line, I thought you were joking, but then I remembered "Pendragon, Sword of His Father" ... I had forgotten you had seen that! Ah well, the life of a miniscule extra in a movie! At least I appeared in a few shots, even if smoke covered my face half the time. My son got more air time than I did! -Robert
