Get out your calendars, folks! Time to buy Scarlet and prepare a review. CSFF Blog Tours will be promoting and reviewing Scarlet on November 26-28. All you need is a blog, site or newsletter to promote Lawhead's writing! These specific dates are aimed at gaining a top listing for the Amazon Scarlet link at Technocrati. Each month this tour promotes a new Christian book and I'm so excited that Lawhead's Scarlett is now on the list! Go to the link above to join the tour. Wait till November to sign up if you only want to promote Lawhead, though I'm sure they'd love it if you help the tour every month! Every once in a while there is a tantalizing free book for review offer.... Let's spread the word!

I've got another way of promoting "Scarlet" the old fashioned way. For the past month (August) and continuing into the present time, everytime I pass a book store (Coles, Chapters etc) I ask if they have "Scarlet" in stock yet. They usually say "No" so I ask to speak to the manager and let him know that I've "had contact" with the author and it's anticipated to be a big seller. "Just thought you would like to know so that you can order a few copies and be ready for it". Then I usually stand over their shoulder while they look it up on the computer. They thank me and I smile as I head out the door. Now, if each one of us did that in our own city...we may be able to make a difference. Just a suggestion. It requires stepping away from your computer and going outside but it is usually worth the while. PS Here's a tip. The manager gives more creedance to what you say if you are actually purchasing something from the store. LLR

On the book tour...
Because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the US, we’ve moved the November tour to the fourth week of the month. Our upcoming tours look like this:
*November 26-28 Stephen Lawhead’s Scarlet, second in the King Raven Trilogy *December 17-19 Terri Main’s Wayfarer’s Journal, a science fiction Webzine
In January we will feature Jeffrey Overstreet’s debut novel, the more literary fantasy Auralia’s Colors.

*laugh* Yeah. I've checked to make sure our store has it too. It's there!
