Only half-way?!? Well, I guess that's half-full and not half-empty. I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

Don't mind me. I just wanted to see these two covers together. Well, as long as this is the 'Speculations' thread ... What do you think about the description given in the synopsis of Scarlet, and how things will come to be? Here we have, among other things, Bran's band including the church as targets of robbery, and attempting to kidnap. And would you care to get inside Will's mind as he's imprisoned and dealing with Odo?

I have yet to read Hood because after I finished SOA I picked up Patrick. I believe I might go get Hood next and The Dragon King Saga and Celtic Crusades will have to wait on my table. But I have been struck by irony today because I just happened to be looking around and read some of this thread about Scarlet. And it just so happened that I watched Robin Hood: Men in Tights last night and I keep thinking of Will Scarlet O'Harra in the movie, who is a dagger wielding friend of little Jon from Georgia. Just thought it was funny. But I don't know if anyone has started a thread about the casting of a possible Hood movie but if so, since I watched this movie last night, I thought that Cary Elwes would be a good leading character. He might be a little too old now but it could work maybe. Oh well I am done laughing to myself so I will stop rambling .... L8R

L8R I don't know if we've fantasized about a HOOD movie based on SRL's work (probably because we don't know the whole story yet, but we have discussed the BBC miniseries.

I think it would make for an interesting topic of discussion to see a Hood movie based on SRL's work. It would certainly paint a very different perspective on the characters from what has been portrayed in movies up till now.

Tuck, eh? very, very interesting. hmmm...very interesting. He's been somewhat of a minor character throughout. It'll be interesting to see what he does in this volume that makes him worthy of grabbing the title.
