Bulakki!(?)

I'm re-reading The Paradise War, and in the chapter "The Serbian" their host at that very unique restaurant says "Bulakki!" as he serves them the first dish. Does anyone know what that means? Is it the name of the dish, or does it mean something like "Enjoy!" or "Bon appetit!"? When I put the word into an online Serbian-to-English translator (on the assumption that "The Serbian" refers to the host, not the restaurant), it told me that "bulakki" means "bull", so now I'm really confused.

BTW, this chapter makes me salivate every time I read it....

I always assumed it's the bread.

I thought it was the name of the dish. And I thought it was something along the lines of hummus.

I think bulakki is the dish--Lewis says, "I, for one, was disappointed when the bottom of the bowl began showing
through the bulakki"
