I swear, I'm still alive

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much. Things just sort of exploded (don't worry, it's nothing bad). The biggest thing is that my friend and I are going to the Otakon anime convention in Baltimore next weekend, and I've been stressing a little because there were hotel problems, and I've entered one of the costume contests. Which is tres stressful because I haven't actually sewn anything in a couple years, and to be eligable to enter, you have to make most of the costume yourself. Oy. But it's still fun, since I'll be going as one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters (Rinoa, for those of you who are familiar with the games). So before I really start ranting about Otakon and how amazing it's going to be, I'll just say that I may poke in from time to time, but I won't be around much. Hopefully things will calm down soon.

Wow. It sure sounds like you've got some fun times planned out. I hope the sewing goes well and you won't have any issues at the convention. Good luck on the costume contest. I hope you do super.
