ok, so i'd like to really apologize for the severe lapse of contact. but there's been a lot going on in my corner of the universe... actually my corner of the universe is now centered in South Korea. i'd been struggling to find what i should be doing most of the summer and finally came to the conclusion of working overseas. so i got a job as a conversation teacher at a private kindergarten in Ilsan, South Korea. its amazing, i love it here so much. and i'm glad to be back on here. there's so much going on over here, its impossible to share it all. but i'll answer any questions you got. see you around

*jealous* For years, I have tinkered around with the idea finding a way to get a job in S. Korea. I haven't been too serious about it, but I would love any stories or anything you are willing to share. It must be terribly exciting! (My wife was adopted from S. Korea when she was 6, so returning has always been on our to do list. I have an 8 year old daughter, so I'm not sure how anything long term would work out, but I understand they have excellent education over there.)

So i feel like a horrible person. It's been over a year since i've last posted. maybe someone was wondering what happened to me. Well, i'm still in South Korea. still at the same school. I'm actually leaving in 5 days to go home for christmas and the birth of my first niece. I'm ready for a long vacation- one month! I do still love korea. it has been an amazing time so far and i know that there's still a lot for me to experience here until next october. I'm going to try to keep on here more. Because you all are a great group of SRL fans- and i miss that here. In other news, i'm introducing my korean boyfriend to SRL this christmas with the Song of Albion. I hope he loves it as much as I do. Merry Christmas everyone and it's nice to be back!

It's great to hear from you again. I'm glad you're still having a good time in Korea. Enjoy that long vacation and the new girl.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.

and it's a year and a half later. I'm no longer centered in Asia...i'm leaving in a week from IL to move to New Zealand. I have been working really hard on this move and wish i had been better about keeping up on here. As a going away gift my dad got me the Song of Albion trilogy and i'm excited to own the set myself finally so i can sit and read it at my leisure. (not that i have any leisure time). other news- i finished reading Tuck...but i feel that in order to actually like how it ends i should go back and read them all three again.
