I admit it - I am not the outdoors-ey type. I need air conditioning at least every four hours or I have a psychotic episode.
So it is with great anxiety that I'm going camping. The car will be no further than 80 feet away from the campsite, so I should survive. However, I will not be logging in Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. So if you need anything, let me know before Monday or else approach one of the other friendly Mods.
(They are the ones with the embarrassing "HI! I'm..." name tags on.)

*chuckle* If you're using a tent you're not as yuppie as you might be. I hope you have a wonderful time!

I am alive, although I'm afraid the same cannot be said for a jumping spider which picked the wrong lap to curl up on. I about destroyed some 'equipment' in the process of frantically smashing the guts out of that poor arachnid. However, despite what my wife will tell you, I did not squeal like a girl...
Anyway, our lazy dog had the worst of it. She probably won't leave her bed for a week and a half now. That's more exercise than she is used to.
All in all, very enjoyable - but good to be back in the world of technology.

What a brave guy, dgan! Much more than I would ever attempt. (I mean the camping part, not the squishing of the poor helpless arachnid.)

Not only was it a tent, but only one tent for the three of us plus the dog...talk about crowded! It was that second night that I was thankful we only booked a two-day trip.
