Hopefully, I'll get on here every few weeks - especially in anticipation of Tuck. Just been so busy with this new job...I'll give anyone who cares a quick run down.

Used to work third shift, so essentially I had unlimited time to sit on the internet. After quitting that job, my daughter and I spent the summer together and I just couldn't get away enough - it happened so quick I didn't really realize. What time I did spend on here was job searching.

Now I manage a center for laser vision correction. No, I don't have a medical background - I mainly just handle staffing and financials, although I am now a certified technician as well so I can be in surgery if needed.

This is pretty much 8-5, but I haven't had a regular day job in...well...actually, I don't think I've ever had a regular day job. After work, I only have a few hours with family and maybe catch part of a baseball game (soon, football games!). In any event, I don't usually spend what little time and energy I have on forums - even my fantasy football hobby has taken a back seat. By the weekends, I have a long list of things to do and this site just never seems to be high enough on my list. Right now, in fact, I'm kicking myself that I haven't had any decent exercise in a while.

My wife took off work this summer, just like I did last summer. Not the best plan for the budget, but we both got nice break that we needed. We just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary this weekend, and we've been working our butts off since day 1. So we've each had a good extended break now, and are ready to tackle the next 10 years.

Anyway, so that is that. I had to come on and post my thoughts on Scarlet, though, since I finally got a chance to read it. Best wishes to you all - I never log on to tell you this but I never forget you.

Any newbies to this site, take notice - there are some here who may be the best friends you will ever find!

Well I am back if only for a moment. My step daughter has decided to stay with us for the next couple of years and my littlest is just starting to crawl. Jaime started kindergarten and I am potty training my son...sigh...MISS YOU ALL!!!!

I am back...YAY...My son is getting ready to go back to preschool, my littlest turned 2 on the 6th!!!! My Jo is home permanently and Kass is doing great!!!! We are so blessed...

We did go through some hard times while i was gone, we lost our home, and hubby had to change jobs both due to economy issues...

We are back to renting, and he is still working, thank GOD!!!! Kids are all growing up on me

I'm glad that things are going at least semi-well for you. Remember, a home is just a material possession and as long as you and your family are okay, that's the important part. Stick in there!
