In and Out, Off and On

I've been gone so long I thought maybe my membership had be revoked and the puffy pink letters of my username that I had worked so hard to gain had been deleted.
As we last left our heroine (me) both my Mother and myself had gotten seriously ill during Christmas which led to my Mother being in the hospital in January. Being the faithful, loving daughter that I am I went to see her EVERY day. During February and the first of March I moved in with her to oversee her recovery. She is finally on her own and I am back in my cozy, little apartment surrounded by books and CDs everywhere. The first week back at home I spent sleeping as much as humanly possible. Still rather busy but at least feeling more myself and able to check in on y'all and see how everyone is doing. I missed you guys more than I thought possible. Strange how a person can feel connected to a group of people they've never even seen.
Hope you are all okay. Send me some PM messages if you want to say a more familiar "hello". Great to be back! ;D

I'm here again, sort of. I've been reduced to lurker and sometimes poster. My daughter, who is now 3 months old is keeping me busy as I have taken over as stay-at-home dad until the end of May. That's why I'm posting at 1:48 am.

Ok, well I am not dead. LOL, but I have been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I am so busy right now. We're getting ready for the end of the school year, on top of packing to take the girls back up north. Not only that but my son decided he was going to need stitches last friday. Thankfully they're out now, he's healing well, but it will be a permanent scar. Please keep us in your prayers. On top of it all we MAY be expecting again. I won't find out till Saturday! God just keeps blessing us, and I thank him for it. I am not complaining, but I am NOT ready for another one at this time. It is in HIS hands though and I am trusting in him to see things through!

I love this site so much but it seems that months go by where I don't stop in. I feel bad about neglecting all of you and I genuinely miss reading all of the posts you do. Life is getting really hard. I don't even clear one crisis before the next one shows up. It's like Shakespeare says in Hamlet, "troubles don't come as single spies but in battalions" , or something like that.
Wanted you to know that you do all still matter to me and even if I don't take the time to write a post, I always have time to utter a prayer in your direction. You guys are the best. See ya later.

Well all updates in, I am finally in my second trimester, and starting to feel better. The girls are settled at their mom's fairly well, and are greatly missed. This house is so quiet it almost echoes... , but on a side note the little ones are running me around in circles (trying to drive me batty) and I can finally keep up on the house with little to no help...alot easier to clean up after 4 than 7. Hubby and I are doing well and he seems to be finally coming around to the idea of another little one. Gives us peace knowing that at least these three won't be going anywhere till college.

*hugs* I'm glad to hear you're doing better and more able to manage things. You're taking care of quite a few people regardless of the grand total. I hope and pray the rest of the pregnancy goes well for you.

Well not much to update except I am finally getting my sonagram next month. Looking forward to finally knowing, if the baby cooperates. I am also starting school (one class at a time) this fall, got to take it easy till the little one gets here. I am on my own on this one due to DH trying to talk me out of it everytime. This is something I need for me right now and in the long run it will help him too! HUGS to all, please continue to keep us in your prayers. Thanks!

As long as the baby is healthy, that's the primary thing. Everything else will resolve itself sooner or later but you're a tough cookie and will survive.

If you like I can turn that song Eye of the Tiger from Rocky on and you can think about taking the punches and still getting up and moving on. Babies just seem to have this way of kicking and punching you know. Funny thing about them little kids.

Dred-you mean like I have become in the last week or so...sheesh lol active little bugger~! Not that I am complaining.

All-The Ultrasound techs think it might be a girl, but couldn't get a clear enough picture to tell for sure. So for now is still a suprise baby and will have names for both picked out just in case.
