Usually you can edit and work it in somehow. Try it and see!

That's what I would suggest as well. Most times you can do some minor modifications and then fit whatever you have into what's taking place. It works most of the time.

Hah! So much for your attempt to make it impossible for you to talk! *loves internet medical sites* They may make mountains out of molehills when you're feeling unwell, but they're also good at providing a nice soothing reason for coughing up blood other than having a punctured lung.

Well, I'm reading through the gossip, the resources and the story. I have to figure out who my character will be, where I'm from and how I get there. ;D It may take me a few weeks to get caught up since I don't have lots of time to sit and read. Well, I guess I could read this instead of SRL...LOL!
And of course I have cree to help me build my character.
I'm also not much at writing...but I will try.

Hey you guys! Just read every page of this and absolutly love it, although it seems that people are losing interest since the last post on it was about a month ago, so hopefully it will start up again cuz I'm ready!
So i posted a thing in the story, so just wanted to know if i was doing okay. . .
put in a new character which i will play, found washed upon the shore, and as of now has no memory. But don't worry! Her background will somehow tie into yours as soon as she recalls her past. . .

Thanks for dropping in, Pink. I look forward to seeing what you have to add to the story!

Sounds great. I can't wait to get things going again. I'm afraid real life sometimes kicks in and draws attention away from the really fun activity.

May I join in?
My character, Rita, is an sixteen year old American girl who reads a lot of fantasy. She's always wanted to go to the world of one of her books and perform deeds of derring-do, but in real life she's slightly overweight and very lazy, not used to working.
I think she'll stumble through when sitting on a large rock outdoors reading. She'll get up and walk around the stone to relieve a cramp and fall through when she sits back down.

That will definitely add another twist!...and I know you'll post here. *grin* We're waiting patiently to see where you show up. Do you want to be captured and go with the captives?... arrive in the ravaged village?... wander in the wilderness?...the possibilities are endless. You can develop your own story in a new section of the map and create a second cast of characters to bring along some other time when Kaie, Shylah and Rhakar need help....we'll work with anything you write and be glad for the company!

debinoxford, pink...and anybody else interested in stepping back into the story...
Feel free to put your character in with the survivors, either in the captives or those left to rebuild the village...or off someplace, completely unaware of events. You can even jump in and be the girl that steps forward wanting to go along.
We would love to have you all join us and add your portion to the story mix. I have to admit I'm wondering what happened to your characters. *grin* Come let us know!

We're glad to have you here with us CoI. The more the merrier.
Just so anyone who is interested in RPing but worries about posting a great deal in a short period of time, don't worry about that. You can participate at your own speed. You don't have to follow the same storyline as what is currently going on. You can be off on your own someplace else entirely and have other characters.
The more developed this becomes the better it will be for everyone.
Feel free to share any ideas you have and ask questions as often as you wish.

I think I'd like to have Rita not come in contact with English speakers for the present. I'm not exactly sure where she's going yet...

Sounds good. Let us know when you wish for some additional interaction. We can always have a non-English speaker find you at some point if you like.
