My husband has been trying to get me to read some of Lawhead's work. I have finally decided to give it a try. I thought I wouldn't like it just because it is not the type of style I usually read. I am half way through Taliesan and find that it is actually pretty good. I am looking forward to reading Merlin and Arthur. What do you suggest I read after these book? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Well, there are two more books following the three you have mentioned.
I would recommend the Song of Albion and Empyrion series as well. Both are highly enjoyable.
Then there's the Dragon King trilogy.
I think you'll enjoy any of the books. They are all really great.

I guess those will be the next books I read. Thanks for your suggestions. I have heard a lot of good things about the Song of Albion. I just wanted to get some feedback from the Lawhead fans.

You're correct. Those are the books that follow what you're planning on reading.
SoA is really awesome. It is one of his better series to date.
Don't forget Patrick, Byzantium, and his trilogy dealing with the Crusades. They are also very, very enjoyable.
Let us know what you think as you have time.

If I believed in required reading lists, SoA would be on mine. It would certainly be one of my 'desert island' books.

Or you could walk over to my book shelf and read the back flaps of the books (since I own all of SRL's works) and see if any interest you.

I just wanted some other people's opinions.

LOL Just bury her under a deluge of books, why don't you? Nah. Not bury, just provide enough incentive to keep interested.
