I know that Telemarketing is not the best job to have, but it sounds like you must be good at it. I hope you get some kind of bonuses for getting so many sales.

any bonuses won't show up this week. . .they keep putting us in NY first thing in the morning and I'll get one sell there and the rest of the day it's like pulling teeth trying to get these appointments. I had one guy who was all ready for the rep to come out until I told him that I had to record him and then he was like, "No, no recording. I'll just talk to the rep when he comes out" and I'm like, "But he won't come out unless we record!!!!" But of course I can't say that and so I was like, "You suck so badly!"

That stinks. I hope things will ease up for you and the sales pick up.
The recording thing scares a lot of people. I once told a telemarketer that I was recording him and he hung up on me. I had gotten about ten calls from the same organization and had told them each time to take my name off their list. I never got another call from them after that.

lol, that's cool. . .I would have been like, "Well sir, I'm sorry that you feel like you have to record us. I assure you it is not my fault but I will see to it that you are removed from our call list. I apologize for the inconvience." And waited for the response. Of course later there would have been a big rant  Funny story of the day. . .I got one sell again . . . I just can't get them like I did last pay period. But last pay period paid off. . .$295 today after the evil taxes. . . *mutters about the missing $70* |
