Thank you for those roses Dred, they will be a beautiful addition to my collection. . .as soon as I get my puter hooked back up to the net. . .*hopes* . . . And I hope I can do this job. ..telemarketing isn't exactly what I'm used to doing. . . You'll do fine Hinata... You're just stepping out of your comfort zone a little bit.

lol. ..It's telemarketing to companies. . .so I'll still get the upset customers, but I'm not calling people at home during dinner which makes me feel more comfortable. And I can let things slid off me. . .as long as I'm not in a particularly pissy mood, I do fairly well and just say, "eh, whatever" and moving on. . .I hope I can do it on the job now Just don't tell them, "ja ne" when you hang up... you might confuzzle them.

Well. .. so far I'm off to a good start. . .I start around 2 actually being on the phones and I got one "sale" set up. . .it's not really a sale. . .it's more like, "I'll have the AFLAC rep come and talk to you" and then from there it's out of my hands. . .so I just set up appointments. ..I'm worse than a secretary. . .my job sucks. . .

You have a job and that's the important thing. If you decide that you don't like your job then you can always hunt for another one but at least you have a job that will help pay the bills. Something is better than nothing.
I pray that you'll find something you truly enjoy.

I would hire you, Hinata...except I'm a peon myself, so I don't really have the authority to hire and fire... yet.

I have the ability to hire and fire within a narrow range. Sadly, I'm not up to the level where I would be able to hire you. Give me a few years though.

What can you hire for?

I can hire and to some extent fire technicians in the lab I supervise. I work for the state so the state system always has some really crazy ways of working through the process.

Sure. I think we can pretend anything we want. What would you like to be?
