Just thought I would take the time to reintroduce myself since it's been ages since I have posted here. Name's Josh. I am a 27 (almost 28) year old father of four; a computer geek by day, and a writer by night. Been a Lawhead fan since Junior High when I read Song of Albion for the first time and became immediately addicted. I pull the books out of the case once a year to read them and I find something new and exciting every time. They remain my favorite books to date. I'm also thoroughly enjoying the "Last Disciple" series, which is an interesting alternative to the Left Behind "end times" theology. I'm a nerd at heart and I run a "virtual series" spin-off of Star Trek. I'm also in the process of launching two Christian-based virtual series (the link to one can be found in my sig; and if I may take a moment here, if you are a writer looking for an outlet we could certainly use a hand getting these shows going!). Hopefully these will be available next year. I plan on getting in on "Hood" very soon, as I can't wait to see Lawhead's take on this particular legend. So that's me in a nutshell.

Welcome, and I look forward to getting to know you here where Albion is always in our hearts and Lawheads on the mind.

Dear Grimm; I'm glad you re-introduced yourself. I haven't been here that long and I'm still meeting lots of new people. I also am in the habit of reading SRL books over and over. They're like an onion:lots of layers. Also glad to make the acquaintance of a fellow Believer and also a fellow Star Trek maniac. I don't have any kids but I feel tired just thinking of how many you have. I'm sure you know how blessed you are. Could you tell me the name of the author who does the "Last Disciple" series that you mentioned. I would like to check it out. I'm looking forward to reading more posts from you in the future. Lalara

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Lalara, the Last Disciple series is written by Hank Hanegraaff and Sigmund Brouwer. You might know Mister Hanegraaff from the radio program "The Bible Answer Man". While I don't necessarily subscribe to either this view or the Left Behind view of the tribulation, I will say that The Last Disciple series is definitely the better researched and better explained of the two views. The books are available at any of the Family Christian Bookstores or similar stores, or online. I believe Barnes and Noble also carries them, though I don't believe Borders does (mine doesn't).
