[Orange]This is for those of you who are interested in contributing to the story, but feel like you don't have enough time to read the previous post of which it is comprised. So browse this and join in the fun. We look forward to where your imagination will take us.[/Orange]
[red]Note:[/red]
Unlike The Story this story is meant to be primarily serious.
[red]Summary:[/red]
Their is no defined plot which has developed other than this:
The story centers around a young man named Meran from the town of Valor in the land of Zodiac...The Isthmus of Zodiac to be specific, in the country of Vroengard.
The capital of Vroenguard is the city of Valor. This City is great. Large in size yet, it thrives on primarily the smallest businesses, as there is so many of them.
Meron (Also called Meran, and Meron the Wise) finds himself exiled from his home upon the invasion of Valor at the beginning of the story.
Having placed a magical crown upon his brow he was magically teleported to the great woods in that country where he meets the Centaur (half man and half horse) Abba, who he finds out is meant, by a higher power, to guide and teach him how to be a king. Also, Abba tells Meron of his prophet who will train him before Abba begins to be his official guide.
Then being sent by Abba into the forest to await a meeting with this prophet Meran wanders around for awhile.
Then he meets the female prophet (with a red hawk as a pet), briefly, when she saves his life. At this point she teaches him a valuable lesson before she mysteriously disappears.
[yellow]"You were not paying attention because you gave in to frustration. This is not the conduct of a King. You must learn."[/yellow] (Abba had told Meron "the prophet will teach you")
At this time Meran discovers an ancient well deep in the forest with some mysterious scribblings on it. Likewise, he finds next to the well the prophet has left him a leather bound journal and writing stick.
Wandering again Meran comes upon a cave by a stream. Inside he finds the rotting corpse of a soilder. Hearing sounds coming from within the cave he salvages a chain-mail shirt, a shield and a sword of off the deceased and goes to investigate it.
Next he, briefly, meets a young boy who claims to be the son of the fallen soldier. His name is Oaklynn.
Then we are introduced to two brothers who are trying to steal one of the dragon Ammut’s eggs.
Lastly, the dragon Ammut discovers/pursues the pillaging brothers Alon and Ariel, but turns away in order to pursue Meron and Oaklynn.
Meanwhile, Alon and Ariel are apprehended by Ellu and the "D" twins.
[red]List of Meron’s Possesions:[/red]
Meron has in his possession two important objects at the outset:
1) a magical crown, the emperor’s crown to be exact, which when placed upon his head magically transports him out of harms way before it melts into his head leaving only a star tattoo upon his forehead.
2) the mystical gift scroll which Abba tells Meron is to be studied.
3) Also, he has his clouthes (which have yet to be described) and his cloak.
Later, through the course of the story he acquires the following objects as well:
1) a leather bound journal and a writing stick (found by the well)
2) a dead soldier’s sword, chain-mail shirt, and shield (found in the cave)
3) a map of the land of Zodiac (in the world of Xanadu) which had once been drawn for him in his youth.
[red]List of Chracters:[/red]
