Basically, make at least two words in each line start with the same letter. There's more to it, but that should suffice for beginners. To get really indepth, go to alliteration.net/fieldgd.htmI'll start with an exceedingly bad first stanza: The west wind wailed Moaning and muttering grief It saw the sad sister Innocence destroyed in tortured death.

the Maid longed for a love unparallel but she is an ill-fated individual foredoomed for loneliness could there be a cure for her uncommon curse? or will she forever sing her sad song?
