Anybody else watching? I'm really enjoying this so far.

I haven't been able to catch it so far. It looked pretty good in the previews though.

oooo, oooo, me, me, I have, I have. I've been watching. I've actually recorded every one on video (yes, I know. I still have a VCR, but this is not the time or place to lecture me about coming into the 21st century with the rest of you). Anyway, I'm a HUGE Firefly/Serenity fan, so when I heard that Summer Glau was gonna play the Teen-age Terminator... I was there. (I even forced my 67 year old Mother to watch too - her comments were a riot, but that's another topic). I really like what they are doing with it. Considering how many movies there have been, there is a lot of Terminator Folklore to include and I think they include everything quite nicely. It doesn't jive completely with the Terminator 3 movie but considering that they are messing with Time travel, they're doing pretty good. I love the FBI agent, James Ellison. As you've probably all figured out by now, I'm a very devoted Christian and it has always bothered me how Christians are portrayed on TV (and by Hollywood in general). They think we're either Televangelists or beating up helpless pregnant ladies in front of abortion clinics. It's nice to see that on this show, the FBI guy has acknowledged that he's a "man of the Book" but he's not some crazed weirdo. Christians can be rather ordinary when you come down to it. Not me. I'm one of the weirdos. But, you know,... other Christians. But the Sarah Connor Chronicles have had their season finale (after only 2 months - I think the seasons are getting shorter) and I am looking forward to seeing more when they resume. (Whew! I think that's the longest post I've ever done.)

I think this is going to be an off season show, so there might be more episodes this summer. The show is also supposed to follow Terminator 2, so maybe that explains the lack of jive with the third movie

Yep. It was supposed to take place between T2 and T3.
The writer's strike greatly limited the number of episodes for them to shoot and get into production. I hope they keep it around because the rumors I've heard are that it has done well but not well enough to justify the money that is being put into the series.

I saw 3-4 episodes. I like it. That terminator girl from Firefly is great. I plan on watching them all, but I'll probably wait for the dvds. My tolerance for commercials is pretty bad these days, and my 5 year old laptop needs a little more ram or something for fluid online viewings.

I am also getting to the point where I cannot tolerate all the comercials on regular network television. I've actually started timing when the breaks occur and in some shows you only get 4 minutes worth of show before they break for 8 minutes of commercials. Come on, people! I watch very little TV anymore unless it's on my VCR. Yes. I admit it (head hung in shame). I still own a VCR (and it's not one of those DVD/VCR combos either.) I'm stuck in the 1980's but I like it here. It's my happy place. ;D ;D ;D

I really liked this show. Cameron (Summer Glau) is really cute. Too bad they canceled it after the second season
