Has anyone seen the new BBC miniseries of Robin Hood? I found it on the web, and it look pretty good. I am thinking about purchasing in on Amazon UK, or perhaps, requesting that PBS run it in on Masterpiece Theater. I would like to hear anyone's take on the series if you were able to watch them. BBC America is running it right now, and I absolutely love it. It really reminds me a lot of Hood, especially in the portrayal of Robin and Marian's relationship (they're not exactly the lovey-dovey couple you usually see). And I love Jonas Armstrong as Robin. The practically oozes rougish charm. The Sheriff of Nottingham is a great antagonist too. He's obnoxious, cruel, arrogant, pretty intelligent, and I really hope he gets it good in the end.  I would definately recommend that anyone here who hasn't seen it yet to try and catch it. Lots of fun to watch. |

I have been meaning to watch it since i saw advertisements for it, but then i forgot about it. now that you say that it is good, i will probably add it to my (huge) list of shows

Well, i can say i am addicted. I landed up watching the entire season over a two day period... i am so bad.
I was very impressed! The bad thing is, i watched it instead of studying for my exams

Good new for those who do not have access to BBC or BBC America! Robin Hood miniseries the first season is now out in Region I DVD for American viewing. Yes! I am so excited!!! Netflix does have the series to rent if you wish to check it out first. I CANNOT WAIT!
