I have to admit, I'm totally in to "House, MD". It is not the kind of show I usually watch, but I love Hugh Laurie's earlier work and was intrigued by it. Now, I'm hooked. I also like the new show "Bones" which happens to come on just before "House". Neat how that works, isn't it? I'm just bummed. I taped them this week and then when I went to watch them, there was no sound.  Thank goodness for reruns! |

Yeah i like the show house too. . altough im not addicted. . i hit and miss here and there. . but when i do watch it i absolutly love it!

Have you ever seen any of Hugh Laurie in the British comedy "Jeeves and Wooster"? He is absolutely hilarious! I don't think his character could be any farther removed from House at all.

Nope, haven't seen it yet. .. the only other thing ive seen him in is in flight of the phoenix. .. and he was totally different there too .. had a british accent and everything..
and the black doctor was in love and basketball. . . i liked that movie alot

Actually, Hugh Laurie is English, he just has an American accent on the show.

Yeah, I just read an article on the show that when they were looking for an actor to play House, the casting director didn't want any English guys and they gave him his tape anyway. The director looked at it and said, "That's what we need, a good American actor." He got the part, then they told him he was English.  |
