The funny thing about that movie is that it has made me more interested in the Firefly series. When it first aired on Fox, I didn't get very interested in it. But when I saw a few movie trailers and found out that the girl had been turned into a kind of soldier, it made me more interested in it. So, now I've been watching the series and enjoying it alot more. Somebody in that group sure knows their marketing because it worked on me!

A friend lent me the Firefly box set sunday night. I watched it through 'til 3 in the morning, and then woke up at finished it on Monday.
Absolutely terrrific stuff. Saw Serenity today, came out on 29th in Australia.
Its a really good mix of humour/action/suspense. Any sci-fi fan should see it.

Well, my friends and I were supposed to go see it last night, and we did see it...most of it. We planned to go after our high school's homecoming game, but the game ran late, so then we all piled into two cars and sped to the theater, only to learn that they closed at 10 pm. By this time it was about 10:20 pm, so we had to negotiate with the theater people to get in. BUT, since I missed the first 40 minutes of the movie I now have an excuse to go see it again.
I only have one word to describe Serenity. "Shiny".
(By the way, the little title thing under my avi are lyrics from Firefly's themesong.)

The first forty minutes are well worth seeing the film for again. I think those minutes held the funniest lines of the movie.

So I've heard. My dad is taking me and my sister to see it this friday, so it's all good.
