I thought this thread side-path was interesting enough for its own discussion.
Theories on guardian angels?
I always joke with my DH about his guardian angel. I'm pretty sure it's always running around going, "Ow!" or "Darn! I lost twelve wing feathers trying to keep him from falling down the stairs!" or "Ugh, I got crushed between two cars, trying to stop that accident...and this is the twentieth time today. When is the new guy arriving, did you say?"
Needless to say, I consider it a miracle DH is still alive, considering his complete disregard for his safety.

Interesting. One cannot write 'assistant' with the word 'the' prior. It switches to "I disagreeistant," which is the wierdest edit I've ever seen...

I've deleted the censored words so it will stop doing that, but I have a phalanx of mods on guard!

Now that I look at it, I think the word 'my' was prior...still... LOL
Thanks CoI

My dad's poor guardian angel. My dad's broken his neck three times. He's been shot, stabbed, blown up....his heart stopped once too. But he's still alive and kickin'.

Hehehe...my mother says we (my three sisters and I) were all kissed by Archangels when we were born...that's just what she called the "angel kiss" on our foreheads when we were born (the red blotch that sometimes shows up there on a newborn). She said Gabriel kissed me, and Raphael and Michael kissed my two sisters. But anyway...yeah, my poor guardian angel...I MUST have more than one...or a very, VERY tired one. I've done so many dare-devilish things in my life...hehehe

If angels can have grey hairs, then I think I've given my guardian angel a few. Okay, more than a few.

Mine floats around and eats popcorn. He's getting fat and lazy.

Mine's busy all the time. I fell out of a tree once and landed on that spot between my neck and shoulder. I just got right up and kept going. I've never broken a bone, but by all scientific rights, I should have broken several by now.

I told mine to go and help someone more in need of him. I'm tough enough to protect myself.

I know mine was working overtime when I went to Wales. The things I did while I was there... should have gotten me killed. I think I told Saru the whole story on MSN once.
