If you have read Madeleine L'Engle "A Wrinkle in Time", I would reccommend watching the movie made by Disney. It was very enjoyable. Even if you haven't read the book, the movie is worth seeing.

I read the book and it was ok... I mean it was well written and at the time I read it it was pretty neat. But it didnt stand the test of time for me. But thats just because it's not my genre of choice. And we own the movie on dvd... but I think we have yet to watch it

I've read the book, and it was ok. Not great. I did watch the movie, but that was a long time ago and I wasn't really paying attention. I only remember parts of it. But from what I remember, the movie was pretty good, too.

I loved the book, and all the ones that come after it. I hated the movie. They took out all Biblical references, and I barely recognized the Man with the Red Eyes. The kid that played Charles Wallace was pretty good, but the thing that bugged me the most was the scene where Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin are with Mrs. Whatsit and they're flying over her homeworld. In the book when Charles Wallace translates what the creatures are singing, it turns out to be one of the Pslams. In the movie they sing about generic happiness and fluffy things.

I really enjoyed this book, and A Wind in the Door--unfortunately, I've never gotten a chance to read any more of her books.

I just found one of her books at a garage sale! LOL I was thrilled. 50 cents can't be beat. I've always enjoyed her writings.

I read it when I was younger. I remember liking it alot, but I don't remember much about it. It's about time I reread it. I don't think I've seen the movie. I'll have to check it out.
