Many of you will disagree with me... You're right...it was ok. I mean, it had a number of funny parts and is worth a see...but the story was lacking and there was some serious cheese. I was dissapointed with Dr. Doom - which was done horribly IMO. He gets powers and then decides he just likes to go out and kill people. mainly the F4, for no apparent reason? THAT's what they got out of the 100's of comics with Dr. Doom in it?! [note: this had nothing to do with the actor - he's one of my favorites]

I think I agree with you both: It was good...better than I expected it to be, actually, but not as good as some of the other comic adaptions I've seen(Spiderman and Batman, for instance). I'd probably give it a 6 out of 10, sorry.

I really liked the movie as well, the only thing I found wrong with it is how the movie seemed to end as soon as the plot started developing. I love the actors in this movie they are great

It really did strike me as a background movie. It's well acted, and it had a reasonable storyline, but it was simply a start... and when you get to the end, that's how you feel about it. I do look forward to the sequels, as I think they may be better due to the way they used this one.

ok, i wouldn't say best Marvel ever.....i think that goes to Punisher.....but yes, FF rocked......the only major problem i had with it was that it took too long for Doom's character to develop......by the time he did, he was already being defeated.

I haven't seen Fantastic Four yet, but it has got to be better than a version later was made in the mid-90's. It was never released, but my dad found a copy of it on the internet. I couldn't finish watching it, it was so bad. I think the only movie I've ever seen that was worse was the Star Wars Holiday Special. None of the actors could act, and Dr. Doom just sat in the shadows and tried to laugh manically, but it sounded like he was having an asthma attack.

ROFL Fabulous! You can find stuff like that? You know, it's never occured to me to wonder what happens to all those failed movies out there.

Daae, i've got that one.....the Thing is made out of the same stuff that the Ninja Turtles were made from in their movies......oh, and the cheesiness of the Human Torch was absolutely farcical......it's more of a comedy than anything else.

I really enjoyed the movie, and am looking forward to the sequel. I think that it was one of the best summer movies out there too!

It will suffer because of Batman Begins (which was fantastic).
Had it been the only super hero movie of the summer, it might've been remembered more fondly.
Still waiting on X3.
