It was Jeff Johnson's music that led me to Stephen Lawhead's books in the first place. (Anyone else? I know several of you have already said you like his music.)
Actually, I was listening to him before his longstanding collaboration with Brian Dunning. I lost track of him due to college costs and lack of local radio play, just before Songs from Albion I came out.
I started catching back up earlier this year, first by replacing my cassettes with CDs and also trying out what was at the time his latest release, The Katurran Odyssey. To get more out of that one, I tracked down the book on which it is based, by Terryl Whitlach and David Michael Wieger. I highly recommend that book to anyone here!
Then I started filling in from where I left off, and that meant Songs from Albion I. Of course, since his implicit recommendation through that other recording was so perfectly right, I had to read The Paradise War now. Need I say anything more about how that turned out?

SRL led me to Jeff Johnson. I found the Byzantium CD on Amazon after reading the book. I was at first disappointed in the slower pace of it, but the more I listened to it I began to love it. I also have SoA 2 and Katurran Odyssey. I don't have the Katurran Odyssey book yet, but it's on my list.
