Anyhow, how many of you all know how to dance. I mean like had lessons from somebody in some recognised form or style (to music).
I have to fit the category, don't I...
I've always wanted to learn, but dancing was severely frowned upon when I was growing up, and now...well let's just say I'll probably never get to learn. Sigh.
I watch those old movies...or "The Wedding Planner" and just dream. LOL

It was a contributing factor to the loss of my first love... long story there. Anyway, if I could dance to some music, it would be to Celtic Music... I love Riverdance. |

I was taught the Highland Fling when I was four or five. I still remember my mom teaching it to me when we lived on my grandfather's farm. No one in my family has a problem with dancing. I think performing arts in general run in my family.

The only type of dancing I learned was Line Dancing. That was when I was in high school. I eventually lost interest in it.

I also know some basic waltz and swing dancing. Swing dancing is one of the times I love having a small frame and being a girl, because I get to do all the flying moves. ;DBut I have absolutely no idea how to dance to popular music, the kind that they play at school dances and formals.
