I've heard that the team has sworn they are keeping the deeper stuff in there. We'll see.
The trailer is cool, though.

Yeah. That was a pretty sweet trailer. I can't wait to see how they do the movie. Looks like it could be very well done. *crosses fingers*

Technically, It's being done by Walden Meida--Disney is just the distributer.
I'm looking forward to it, albeit with fear and trembling. I'm not certain it will survive the WETA-izing of the "cultures" of Narnia. But the White Witch looks very promising, and if she under-plays (as opposed to the BBC over-the-top Jardis,) she should be very effective.

Loved the trailer. . . cant wait till the movie. I saw a version of Narnia that was done by some british people, it was pretty bad but i still enjoyed the movie, so i assume I'm gonna LOVE this version. Has anyone else seen that version?

Yeah. I actualy saw it about a month ago. We watched it for the youth group I help out with at church. The kids watched it and then we had a series of questions relating the film to the Bible.
The film was really over the top and not that great. I laughed my head off at the Beavers. Big fur balls.

I'm looking forward to it, albeit with fear and trembling. I'm not certain it will survive the WETA-izing of the "cultures" of Narnia. What, exactly, is that supposed to mean? I mean, WETA has pretty much established itself as the foremost (aside from ILM) for things of this sort; and I think they did an excellent job with the props and cg from LotR. I can only think that they would bring a certain verisimilitude to Narnia (the same painstaking care they brought to LotR in crafting weapons, mail, etc). And besides, from the creatures I saw in the trailer, they look great.
