Just wondering who among the membership plays what instrument. Does anyone here perform or have any recordings?
I play guitar (some) and sing with a couple of music groups. No recording yet, but it's likely in the future. I am also very interested in obtaining and learning the autoharp.

I sing.
I also play piano, though I'm way out of practice and was never good enough to play for people singing. It's more fun when I'm not following music, but just playing what comes into my head.

I play a little trumpet and piano, but mostly I sing. I love singing, and hopefully I'll get to take some voice lessons over the summer.

Last night I had a dream that I was playing piano for a Josh Groban concert, and I didn't know the music!!! He was singing this song about vampires, "when yoooou're in Transylvania...." and all these other crazy new songs. I just sat there, plonking away, while an increasing number of people started to stare and snicker. It was very sad. An otherwise wonderful concert experience ruined....

I play me a bass guitar because the world is sorely lacking them. Everyone wants to be the up front guitar guy. That's so annoying ;D

I sing and play accoustic guitar. I have a classical style guitar which originally was fitted with built-in pick-up and jack... but the jack broke and the battery died. At least the guitar still works...  I play mostly folk style music and I have a recording which was recently digitalized by my pastor: Tinidril's MP3sI also dabble in hand percussion (congas, dumbek, tambourine, etc) and folk harp. |
