Don't know if this should be here... seemed like an okay place.... basically just name your biggest pet peeve. should be pretty funny.

Kids who exercise their vocal chords with piercing shrieks. (I am trying very hard to train my kids out of this. It's awful!)

Patrons who don't reshelve books or just leave the shelves a mess. Kids, I can handle them doing that because they're little. It's just sad when adults do it. (You wouldn't believe the kind of pent up rage you can get working in a library  ) |

Colds that settle at the back of the throat.
(Huh. I LOVED reshelving and straightening books when I worked in the library in highschool. I even straighten when I'm at the local library looking for another title. Don't tell the people who get paid to do it, they might think I'm usurping them. *grin*)

Oh, I don't mind a normal amount of reshelving/straightening, it's just when the entire freakin' shelf is out of order and not even really on the shelf. And when the oversized art books fall on my foot, but that's usually my own fault. Also, the sound carpet makes on wool socks, or visa versa. I can't stand that sound. |

someone who tells there kids, "Let's go" for the 20th time and the kid just looks at them and goes and does what it wants anyway!!
