Anna, Bethy, my sister and I were shopping yesterday. Anna has a '93 red convertible Mustang. Anna was putting the top down when Bethy and I noticed that the back window looked funky. We both said, "I don't think it's gonna..." and it shattered. The back window exploded all over the place. It reached the parking space in front of the car and to the left of it. Bethy and I were in the back seat. We got showered in chunks of glass. We're okay, everyone is, but Anna needs a new back window. We spent the better part of an hour cleaning glass chunks, slivers and dust out of her car and the parking lot.
Bethy treated us all to Taco Bell after that and when we got there, I noticed something on the dashboard. There was this big chunk of glass on her dashboard. Later last night at dance practice, I felt something in my pocket. I reached in and pulled out a chunk of glass.
And no, I don't expect you to know who those people are.

Holy cow. I'm glad that nobody was injured. With all the flying glass, it wouldn't have surprised me to hear of someone getting cut. I hope it won't be horribly costly for her to get the glass replaced.
Taco Bell is yummy. I love mexican. I think I'll eat that for lunch today.

Haha, I realized later that angels had to be in that car with us. All of us were facing the window to some extent. I think I was the only one who wasn't facing it fully and the glass was aimed in my direction. Bethy was facing the window and just put her arms in front of her face. My sister and Anna were facing the window completely. I don't think they had time to move before it shattered. Bethy and I could've been sent to the hostipal if that glass had hit us. A few of the large chunks bouced off our heads, but the rest flew up and out. The parking spaces in front of and all around us had glass in them. In an odd way, it was thrilling. I know for a fact that I'm not going anywhere until God's done with me.

I thank God that none of you were hurt. It really must have been angels in there with you protecting all of you from the harm of that glass.

I think it takes more than one angel to help me.
