What're the names of the new forums? They haven't been created yet. I'm still waiting for authorization. However, I was thinking of the ones most mentioned here.... Help News Games Debates Stuff like that. Any suggestions?

Help - Site Comments and Questions. That's more general.
Debates...I don't like a whole forum encouraging only debating. Couldn't it be perhaps serious discussion or something of the like?

I'm wondering what the use of a debate forum would be--don't we generally debate things on here in general?

And Well, perhaps that was a poor choice of words... I don't remember who suggested this, but someone wanted a subforum dedicated to Politics and Religion. If that's not a debate forum, I don't know what is. I can scrap the idea if you guys think it's too controversial. I just want to make this the most fun for everyone on the forum.

Personally, I don't like Politics/Religion forums. Grouping the two always seems a recipe for disaster, and I'd sooner have a sub-forum for simple serious discussion on topics about something going on in someone's life or Biblical/religious questions than that. You could make a sub-forum for discussion on music/movies/tv/games etc., or just leave that to the general discussion *shrugs*.

We should delete the "censored words". As of now, we can't write teasp.oon because it becomes teaspoon. Us mods can handle the really bad language.

I don't think people need to use bad language but it isn't going to bother me if I see it. I try not to use that language as much as possible but I do sometimes.

I don't think we should do away with the filter all together... but if I could modify it... I would remove the nonesense stuff that you mentioned... Leave the typical stuff... f*** and so on...

I read every post on this board almost every day, so any bad language gets deleted fast. It's just nonsensical to have that filter tearing up our words.
thingyens (Di.ckens) and teasthingy do have an air, I suppose...

If you think we can keep up with it, I'm willing to try removing it completely when I get the chance. If it gets out of hand, I'll turn it on for the worst words. Deal?
