Hmmm, well no one seems to be answering.... I can make a guess though, a shadow or a reflection?

Yea, I know, bit bummed out by that. And unfortunatly, that wasn't what I was thinking of. I figure I'll let this ride a few more days and then post the answer and a new riddle.

Perspective? um, um... teeth! no? Distance! Erm... illusion...no *gasp* Breathing!
Ok, so that's not right either, but I bet if you (oh reader) made it through all that you're wanting to come up with your own, better, answer.

I think the twins are Gregory and Georgie, with Georgie being the greater of the two.

I'll take a stab at it:
Something with positive and negative numbers... like an equation or something.

Good enough for me Cynan, the numbers system is what I had in mind I think. Sorry for the delay.

I apologize for my delay as well. I spent forever trying to find a riddle that I love, but it escapes me at every turn, and everyone I ask can't remember it exactly.
So I'll just throw one out there to keep this thread going.
"Blue car is traveling from Denver to San Fransisco at 60 mph. It leaves at noon.
Red car is traveling from San Fransisco to Denver at 70 mph. It leaves at 2:00 pm.
Denver and San Fransisco are app. 1200 miles apart. When the two cars cross, which one will be closer to Denver?"

Okay I hate math riddles. . . But when they cross paths they will be right next to eachother, and therefore they will be the same distance to Denver? So the answer: neither car will be closer I hope I'm write because there's no way I'm gonna try to solve this mathimatically, haha. [

Yay! I got one right!
Okay I hope I tell this one right:
There is a man who lives on the 14th floor. Every morning he wakes up, gets in the elevator, goes to the 1st floor, gets in his car and goes to work.
When the man returns, he gets in the elevator, and if he is alone he goes to the 12th floor, walks up 2 flights of stairs and then enters his apartment.
If he is with someone he goes all the way to the 14th floor and then goes to his apartment.
Why is this?

I have heard this in a different way, but the answer may still be the same...
The man is a midget, and cannot reach to press the fourteenth floor button in the elevator.

Basically the same except there were no other people involved. If it was raining, then he would go all the way up in the elevator, because he had an umbrella to reach the top buttons. If it was clear and sunny, he did't have the umbrella and therefore went up a certain distance and then walked the rest of the way.
