It would be as if the sun rose one day and it turned out to be a black sun. It would be as if a person drank water that turned out to be dry water.

When speaking to a dwarf, how would Aslan usually address him?

Aslan usually addressed a dwarf as "Son of Earth".

Why did the Pevensie children give Trumpkin a nickname? What was it, and what did it mean?

After the children proved to Trumpkin that they could indeed be capable help for Caspian, Edmund referred to him as "Our Dear Little Friend" when talking about what way to get to Aslan's How. The dwarf asked that, out of love, they not call him that, so they shortened it to D.L.F., which he said would be an acceptable jibe.

And Trumpkin really started it all by calling the children, "My dear little friends", to which Edmund replied, " Little from you is really a bit too much!" Take it away, Tegid!

As Trumpkin was on his journey that resulted in this episode with the Pevensies, who else was being sent by Caspian to look for help, and where was that one sent?

Pattertwig the squirrel was sent to Lantern Waste to look for the Help which would come when Susan's horn was sounded, while Trumpkin was sent to the site of old Cair Paravel.

And when two of the Pevensie children next returned to Narnia (continuing from the last questions), where was Trumpkin?

When King Caspian X set out on his voyage, he left Trumpkin to act as Regent in Narnia.
