Hi there all, I'm a fairly new convert to Stephen Lawhead. However I'm well and truly smitten with his work.
I picked up a copy of Taliesin in a charity shop and I devoured it within a day or two - I could not put it down!!
Then on Legend Readers (a David Gemmell forum) the book club there had picked Hood for the first book to be discussed. (we've still not started discussing it yet *sigh*) and I read Hood (which I've enjoyed a whole lot too)
Since reading Hood, I've managed to read the rest of the Pendragon Cycle and the Song of Albion series as well. I thoroughly enjoyed both series and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of his books, and I'm also looking forward to discussing them with everyone here.
I've lurked a bit since reading Taliesin and this looks like a friendly place so i thought I'd join in..
Nice to be here ;D
Cheers Sil.

Glad you decided to stop lurking! This IS a friendly place, or at least it is when we can keep Dred under control. Post often! Drew

Greetings, Sil. Welcome to the SLFA (Stephen Lawhead Fans Anonymous---just in case). I'm Karen and I read too much. *grin* Ok, so that was lame, but better lame than no post, right?
I know you'll improve this site just by posting.
(Aaaand, Cynan, you better watch out, you better keep a sharp eye; Dred will soon see what you have written--and you know his creative mind will not let it rest.)

Oh, don't worry so much about useful and interesting. We often take one or the other, or neither I give evidence of this regularly, I'm afraid.

Glad to have you here. I love having contact with people really far away from me (I'm in Canada). It makes me feel like the internet is really worth the while. I'm one of the older fans around here (93 years old ) but I haven't gotten that many posts yet. I'm working towards the day when I can make it into the elite message boards where the "Higher-Ups" get to smooze. As long as you think that Stephen Rocks you will be welcome here. (I'm still trying to live down the post I made that stated, "Hood sucks".) Glad to have you around. Looking forward to hearing your opinion. Love Maidryn PS Actually I'm only 41 years old. I just tell people that I'm 93 so that they tell me that I look really young for my age. My ego needs all the boosts it can get.

Ahem...
Official welcome to you Sil. I guess I've welcomed you in a couple of other threads but this will still count. *hugs*
Don't listen to Cynan tooooo much. He's just jealous of me for some crazy reason. I think I'll make something up that sounds good.....yep, he's jealous of me because I live in Iowa. *shakes the chains* I'm fully under control as well.
Have fun.
