Howdy! I didn't know if I was supposed to introduce myself on the "Getting to know ya" thread or by creating a new one. Oh well; here goes. I'm ArdenZ; a half starved 19-year-old college student from Clovis, NM (Aka " Not Mexico!"). Anyway, I'm sort of a Lawhead newbie; I've only read The Paradise War (excellent book, by the way), but I plan to read the remaining two "Song of Albion" books and more of Lawhead. So, hello all!

I totally envy you. The first book I read by SRL was the Paradise War and that started me down a road that has lasted almost 8 years as I discovered all his other books. Even though I enjoy reading his books over and over (and I glean something new from them each time), I can never really capture the enjoyment I had from the discovery of a good story the first time around. The other two books of "Song of Albion" are even better than the first and you really get to love his characters. So curl up with your books and enjoy them for all they're worth 'cause there will only be one first time. Oh and it's nice to have you around too. I look forward to reading your posts. Don't be shy now. ;D
