You know, it's funny; when I first read the book I pictured John Rhys-Davies in that role...I had no idea that he was actually in it! The things you learn everyday...

"Alien Voices" did an excellent radio-drama version of The Lost World. I've never seen any of the movies, though.

i like holmes as well--use to scan the listings on PBS for Sherlock Holmes. The books are excellent. I love the Hound of the Baskervilles.. I can't wait for Christmas to see Robert Downey Jr playing Holmes. This should be a riot.

Sir Conan Arthur Doyle was genius. I love ohis work and am so looking forward to the movie.
I use to scan the listings to watch the tv show on PBS and loved Young Sherlock Holmes.

There really is something special about Doyle's writing. I'm also looking forward to the movie. I watched the old movies with Basil Rathbone many times with my dad growing up. Great stuff.
