1) With which character in SRL books do you have the most in common?
2) Which character from SRL books would you like to be?
3) Imagine you are this person. What would you make different?
4) Why do you choose this person?
I know these are no easy questions but I'm looking forward to get some good answers.
Greets, Joel.

Interesting questions. I think I might be or rather was like Lewis. I very much appreciate the change in him as he became Llew, and I hope that I have made some similar changes in myself. Now, I am hardly a king or any such important person. There are still more things I think I can improve on. I appreciate Llew's respect for the Gifting Giver, and his respect for others. And how he came to honor the position of king. I also really like the friendships he developed, especially his relationship with Tegid Tethal. I recognize that I needs such friendships.
Good questions, Dafyd. I look forward to your answers, as well as others'.

1) Hmmm...probably Merlin, and I don't mean that as a compliment to myself. It is true I give myself whole-heartedly to causes I believe in, but like Merlin it also makes others think me to be cold-hearted, sarcastic, grumpy, unsocial, etc... Although, also like Merlin, that doesn't bother me as much as it bothers others. I am always frustrated by things I can't change.
2) Definately Arthur. I love to be the strategist, the decision-maker, the one who leads and inspires. However, I lack most of Arthur's light-hearted spirit, which I guess makes me more like Merlin. I am working on it, though.
3) I'm not sure. Perhaps just trusting the advice of good friends more.
4) I enjoy life by doing the same types of things he does. It is not always succeeding that brings satisfaction, but just getting the opportunity to challenge yourself to do what you love.
Great questions!

1) I think Ouentin. When I read the book I sometimes wondered about how much we both have in common. But I think he is the better guy. 2) Elphin. 3) Nothing, he was a wise man and good leader. 4) He had Taliesin as son, Rhonwyn as a beautiful and caring wife and his people. Great answers!!

1) Well after considering the likes of Cai, Bedwyr, and Llwelyn; I'm going to go with Gwalchmai I think I have characteristics from many of the characters but Gwalchmai being rarely in the story offers me the choice to collect my traits in him. Gwalchavad also offers a little reflection on him but the simple fact of them being twin brothers. 2) Gwalchmai again. 3) Nothing comes to mind. 4) Ultimately, the greatest achivment for any warrior would be to be a warrior of Arthur. Early on he has the chance to fight for the Pendragon but leaves almost as quickly on quest for a dearly loved friend of the Pendragon. Despite being told by Merlin that it is an impossible task, he still holds that small flame of hope high and leaves friends and family behind to follow his low burning light. On his return, he again goes forth to prove his rightfullness to serve the Pendragon in his Flight of Dragons. The only one to win his place in such a fashion. So in my opinion, he did more in service of the Pendragon than any other.
