Thanks guys. There is a strict no drinking policy here at Bryan... but it's no coincedence that God placed my 21st birthday two days before Spring Break.

Dude, you're at Bryan? My brother went there (graduated in 1998)!

Well, it's kind of tricky...
My current major is History, with minors in English/Lit and Philosophy, but I wish just as fervently that any of those be my choice for my degree. So I was thinking about switching to an English/Lit major, and bumping History down, but at a recent department meeting all the Histor profs. discussed with us students the lineup of History classes offered next Fall/Spring and in made me excited to be a History major again. So I'm still trying to decide. English/Lit and Philosophy certainly seem more practical, but I adore history. I'd love to get as much teaching on history at a Christian college as I can.
Soooooooo, currently it's History.

I did English lit/Philosophy plus playing with History. Good on ya! But you know, you really can't stop with the BA...Master's at least is required for a job. Best of luck--and enjoy your 21-ness, but don't get too crazy

I arrived quite some time ago but I never managed to stop aging. If you figure that one out I would love to know the secret. Or maybe more importantly I should say if you can figure out an easy means of stopping the aging process so you can perpetually be in shape and eat what you want, that would be a great secret to know.

Does the fountain of youth merely prevent aging, according to legend? Or does it also prevent poor health?

Happy belated to Dred!
Also, Cynan, my understanding of the legend isn't that it prevents aging, but that it restores youth--which, I would imagine, involves youthful health and vitality as well as physical appearance.
Otherwise, it would be pretty crappy.
